Tuesday Essay Question
Inasmuch as the 13th Amendment still allows for slavery and indentured servitude (as punishment for a crime), should the government ever exercise this allowance?

ReplyDeleteIsn't that what they do with prisoners, they work around the prison? In exchange for their "keep"? Like an indentured servant?
ReplyDeleteNo. Most prisoners don't work like they used to, anyway. In Texas, they used to make license plates, but they don't any more.
