In what must be a first in the former VP candidate's career (if you ignore the over 30 easily debunked whoppers she told already in the past 8 months), we now know that Sarah Palin has been caught in a lie. It turns out that the money that was going to the lawyers to pay for the ethics complaints were going to be going to the lawyers regardless. Oh, and those "frivolous" ethics investigations? Not "millions of dollars" worth, and, oh, by the way, the most expensive of the investigations? Started by Governor Palin herself.
As much as I've been disappointed with President Obama on the torture question and the detainee question, at least his election resulted in the very real fact that Mrs. Starbursts isn't in the Federal Executive Branch chain of command.
