Inflammatory Rhetoric

Sometimes, I'm not sure exactly how to explain just how asinine I think what someone says or does is. The current object of my ire are Senator Grassley, Liz Cheney and their inflammatory rhetoric against Constitutionally-mandated due process. Liz Cheney refers to the attorneys in the Department of Justice who were appointed to defend the detainees at Guantanamo Bay as "the Al-Qaeda Seven." She's not referring to the detainees, whose guilt was at (or is still at) issue, or have been shown to be not guilty of the crimes for which they were detained, if not charged. No, she's referring to the attorneys, and wants them outed for daring to defend what she refers to as the already guilty.

Why anyone would vote for a Republican in this day and age given their leadership's disdain for the Constitution is beyond my capacity to understand.
