Strange stuff...

Exploding Frogs

I encourage you to click on this link. These are the things that you just can't make up. Apparently, there is a pond in a suburb in Germany where frogs are randomly bloating until they explode, and scientists can't figure out why... I love this world

You're right--some things you just can't make up! It reminds me of the Aesop's fable about an ox and a bullfrog who kept puffing himself up to show his kids that he was bigger than the ox. He burst, of course.

What a cute story!

This story is bizarre. I'm daily expecting to hear that someone added some weird toxin to the water that makes frogs explode. It's ironic that this is occurring during Passover, since one of the ten plagues was frogs!

randomly, i just heard that some think that crows are pecking the livers out of frogs, and rather belatedly, the frogs defensively make themselves look bigger by expanding and then their guts shoot out from the hole through which their liver had recently been removed.
