This morning The Boy asked me if he could use one of his dollar coins that he got from the tooth fairy at school today to buy something. I asked him what he wanted to buy, and he said gatorade or hot cheetos, he hadn't decided yet. I told him that it was his money, so he could do as he wanted, but perhaps he'd rather use his quarters or other change instead of his dollar coins, because there aren't many of them (Susan B Anthony - he's got 3 I think) around.
He looked at me in his knowing way, nodded and said, "I know I don't have many, but the tooth fairy has a lot, and when I lose more teeth, she'll bring me some more."
Hard to argue with logic like that.
