This blog is a collection of what goes through the mind of a father, a husband, a son, a friend, a lawyer (not your lawyer), and a storyteller, all competing for attention in my head. The golden rule applies here.

If you gotta go...
Every now and then, the government proposes legislation that just makes sense. For example, Texas is currently considering legislation that would make it the third state in the union to require stores to force stores to provide access to employee-only restrooms for anyone with a pressing medical need. This would include sufferers of Crohn's disease and Colitis, among other things. I hope Texas passes this legislation.

Boy, I hope they don't require proof. I'd hate to be digging in my purse trying to find the proof while dancing around desperatley.
Rock on... When you got to go you got to go... I once had a deal go down that I found very upsetting in the matter (well more than one, but I like this story the best)
I was navigating my family home from Chabersburg PA to Wayland IA. 6 of us, luggage for a week, and my aunt's oxegen equipment. We had drove straight through, it was 20 till 6am. I was driving the last shift. I had to GO!! I stopped a a store that was NOT going to open until 6! I danced around and smoked a cigarette (can't smoke around my aunts oxegen, ya know...) The woman was inside, standing around, not doing much other than giving me dirty looks and beeing down right rude about me NOT being about to use the restroom until 6. Tired as I was I lost my temper... screaming and treating to go on the groud out side the door she said she was calling the cops. God Bless my mom, she calmed me down, guided me to go behind the dumpster and took the last 20 mile home.
