Random Trivia
Ransom E. Olds, not Henry Ford, created the assembly line, in 1901.
Eli Whitney created the "American System," or interchangeable parts. He's the one who came up with the precision tools to make mass production possible.
Whitney is also, arguably, the reason that slavery became as prevalent as it was in the 1800s, as the cotton gin made widespread production of cotton possible, and thus increased the need of cheap (read: free) labor.
