Fin

Well, I finally received my final two grades today. I needed 16 quality points (your grade times the number of credit hours the class is worth) to reach my goal; I earned 15. What this means, basically, is that I did not increase my GPA to the next grade increment - I finished .007 points away. Really, this means nothing, as I'm the same lawyer now as I would be .007 points higher. Still, it would have been nice to have been able to have the extra points.

Anyway, I passed all my classes, I finished with a B+ average for the semester, my best semester of law school, and have completed all my requirements for my Doctor of Jurisprudence. What I've noticed is that I'm far more capable at what I'm doing than I believe I am, and I am too quick to think that others are better at what we're doing than I am. I'm more confident now than I was three years ago, but I still have room to grow, and have to remember what I can do.

Don't you have to wait until the updated academic ranks are posted before you know where you stand in the class?

Btw, when does the bar start?

The exam is July 24-26.

I don't have any idea where I stand in the class, but I know where I don't stand.

That said, I do have a good estimate of what my final GPA is.
