This Week's Essay Question(s)
If John McCain and Sarah Palin had been elected President last November, would the torture memos have ever seen the light of day? Is the release of these memos good or bad for America?
It's bad for America. All they had to do was say we are playing by a new set of rules now, and left it alone. Instead they opened up a can of worms without having a concrete plan; and now they look like fools as they try to put the lid back on.
