Wow, I ache

It'd been about 2 1/2 months since I'd been to the gym. Boy, did I feel it.

I hurt more today than I did either of the previous two days, partly because I did lower body yesterday after cardio, which seems to pain me a little more. But, I needed it. What I need to do now is find a way to get in to the gym one or two times during the week as well.

On the good news side of things, I got a pay raise, effective next pay period. This is good, because it means more money. It's also good because that means it's more likely that they are looking to keep me around a little longer, which means I can go longer before looking for a new job.

Now I need to figure out what to get my wife for Christmas.

Congrats on the raise! And kudos for working out.

Today I was on my way to the gym, but went shopping instead. I ended up doing the dreaded fat analysis in front of the mirror, after trying on 6 pairs of pants that I couldn't even button. I really should have gone to the gym. On the bright side, nothing fit, so I didn't spend any money.

I second red.hot.momma!'s congratulations. You're probably still earning significantly less that what you deserve, but every little bit helps, right.

I haven't been to the gym in a few weeks. I'm consistently inconsistent. At this point I'm waiting until finals are over, at least that's the excues. Then I'll find some other reason, like Christmas and New Years and the obligatory binge eating.

Sorry we can't help with the kids this weekend. The Wife's working Saturday and I'm studying for finals. Actually, my Corp. Tax final - number 3 of 5 - is Saturday morning and I'm hoping to stay at school and finish my Tax Research project afterward.

I started cardiac rehab last Thursday--next time is Wed afternoon. I'll be so glad when the pain is gone. But I'm doing very well. So everyone tells me!

Congrats on the pay raise.

I haven't gone to the gym in months either. It's going to hurt soooo bad when I start.

Get your wife a rabbit. They make good pets.
