This blog is a collection of what goes through the mind of a father, a husband, a son, a friend, a lawyer (not your lawyer), and a storyteller, all competing for attention in my head.

Respite
And like that, I have a job.
It's a contract position (temporary work), but it will help pay the bills and get something back in savings while I wait for the bar results.
And re: the previous entry. What an assy move. First, it's just dumb. Second, by doing it to supposedly protest the woman's suit about the rape trial, he looks like an even bigger jerk. There are plenty of other examples of frivolous suits (e.g. the Devil case you mentioned), other than going after the sexual assault survivor who was further abused by a misogynist and ignorant judge. Third, I don't think the best way to complain about frivolous lawsuits is to file one yourself. I hope he gets fined.

Congratulations, Steve! Contract work often leads to other opportunites and it's a good way to get started.
Congrats on the job!

Congrats and Good Luck.

Thank you all. It was a nice first day; nothing too stressful, and the coworkers all seem nice. It'll be an interesting next couple of months.
