This blog is a collection of what goes through the mind of a father, a husband, a son, a friend, a lawyer (not your lawyer), and a storyteller, all competing for attention in my head.
The golden rule applies here.

The Palin Turkey Video
I will not show it here.
I think it was in bad taste to do the interview where she did, and I think the circumstances around it are cause for ironic humor, but it's not something that needs any more attention. It happened. It's over. Move on.

this interview demonstrates Sarah Palin's cunning ability to use the media for her own ends. For example, the turkey in the background is designed to appear accidental... in reality she put that flailing bird directly behind her to warn anyone who might oppose her rise to power: Submit now or die.
This is like Janet Jackson's Nipplegate. Sure she shouldn't have done it, but it's not as bad as the media portrays it to be. CNN actually censored parts of it because it was too "gory." I didn't think it was that bad.
If she said it was a "background malfunction," she would have earned brownie points from me.
