Sick child

Poor little guy. The youngest boy has something (cold? Flu? Plague? Scurvy?). He's just now starting to act sick, though he's had a fever since last night. I hope it's nothing that lasts too long; he's a good kid. It's always interesting to see the kids with the fight taken out of them, though. Makes them much easier to manage.

Right now, he's on the Recliner, watching Veggie Tales. Nothing like a talking cucumber to make you feel right as rain.

one thing i miss about working with kids is listening to silly songs with larry...

i worked with a little boy who was obsessed with "larry's high silk hat" and another whose first word was "cebu".

(they both had autism so these were exciting things)

Jack loves Bob, the Tomato. When he sees VeggiTales he comes running, hollaring "Bob! Bob!"

Personally, I really like Larry. A buck-toothed cucumber. "Oh whe-e-re is my hairbrush?"

I'm partial to Mr. Lunt. I really relate to his need for a cheeseburger.
